Tips For List Building – 2
List Building - 3 "Must Have" List Building Tips For Your Blog
-----------------------------------------------
If you really want to build a big list of subscribers using your blog pay close attention because I'm about to reveal 3 must have tips you can't afford to miss...
Must Have Tip 1: Add a subscriber box at the top of your side navigation
What you want is for a subscriber box to appear at the top left or right positions on every page of your blog.
The idea is it's highly visible so people arriving at your website see it straight away.
When you do this be sure to offer an incentive to people for joining your list. For example you could offer people a PDF ebook of your top 10 blog posts that focus on a specific subject.
Whatever you offer as an incentive to people for joining your list make sure it contains links to your products and affiliate programs so you can profit from it as much as possible, in exchange for the valuable content you giving away.
Must Have Tip 2: Use banner ads on your blog to direct people to your list building squeeze page.
We all think banner ads are just for advertising products, but what if you created some that promote your list building squeeze page?
These could be banner ads you include between blog posts or even as banners that appear down one side of your blog. When you create your banner ad make sure you make it as eye catching and as full of benefits as you can for the best possible results.
If you go this route be sure to test out different banner ads to see which ones generate the highest response for you. Remembers this... testing and tracking of your results is everything online, it's the only way of knowing what truly works.
If you don't have a squeeze page just create a page on your blog and turn it into an advertisement for your newsletter or blog subscription (or both), then at the bottom of the page add your optin box.
Must Have Tip 3: Use viral co-registration list building systems
It might sound like a bit of a mouthful but these systems work really well because you use it to not only help you build your list but also to tap into and leverage the traffic of other people.
What is viral co-registration list building?
It's nothing more than a box containing about 5 ads for other people's newsletter or lists (including yours). Each ad has a check box to the left of it, then below all the ads there's an optin form.
So this means that people can choose the newsletters or lists they would like to subscribe to and join then enter their name and email address. It's extremely simple and highly effective.
One of the best ways of getting one of these viral co-registration systems up and running is to do a search online for "viral list building". Then look for those that use an "exit grabber" popup up window. If you're not familiar with what an exit grabber is it's simply a way of attracting the attention of people as they leave your website by showing a popup window containing extra content (usually an offer).
Exit grabbers work because they're not as intrusive as the usual popup windows I'm sure you've seen before, instead they can be used to give people something of value just before they leave your blog. In the case of your viral co-registration system it's in the exit grabber popup window that the 5 newsletter ads appear (that includes an ad for your newsletter too).
Don't forget that because it's a viral system all those other people who share your exit grabbing popup window will be showing your newsletter ad on their websites too. This is how you're leveraging the traffic of other people as well as your own.

List Building - 5 Easy Tips For Free Subscriber Content Creation
-----------------------------------------------
Everyone wants to know how to create content for their newsletter or ecourse, well, here's how I do it...
1. Find questions you've already answered...
If you're anything like me I'm sure you've made lots of forum posts where you've helped someone in some way. Just turn your answer into an article for use in your newsletter or ecourse.
2. Look for questions people have...
Just supposing you've never answered a question in a forum before here's a really great way of finding questions to answer and create content around.
Go to http://answers.yahoo.com then type in the main keywords for your niche to search for questions on.
You'll then get a nice list of questions people have asked about your chosen subject. Take a few minutes to look through those questions for the ones most commonly asked.
Once you know the most popular questions just write your content as your answer and send it out to you subscriber list. It doesn't get any easier than this.
3. Expand on you most popular blog posts...
If you're like many other internet marketers I'm sure by now you've realized the power of blogging. But did you know that it's probably full of some content gems just waiting to be picked up.
Here's all you do... look for your most popular blog posts then expand on them and turn them into articles you can publish in your newsletter, or as an ecourse delivered by email.
4. Interview experts...
All you do with this one is find someone you can interview, record your conversation then transcribe it and turn it into a series of articles you can publish direct to your subscribers, in your newsletter, as an ecourse or even as a PDF people can download.
If you can't find anyone to interview, try flipping it around the other way and get someone to interview you.
5. Just ask...
If you have a subscriber list, a blog or a website just set up a survey where you ask people this question... "what's your single biggest question about (add your subject)?".
Once you have your questions back from your subscribers all you do then is write out your answer. There's your great content.
